The gift of giving! Feel like doing something good for society? especially since it’s the holiday seasons?? Well I suggest going to freerice.com! Not only are you donating, but you’re also improving for vocabulary! Pretty cool right?

Symon’s linked me to this a few weeks ago but I totally let it slip my mind until my supervisor reminded me of it.

This sites creator has so far donated $100,000 to United Nations’ World Food Programme and the site alone has given millionss of grains of rice!

By November 23, 2007, there were 3,531,907,160 grains promised in total. On November 28, 2007 FreeRice changed the amount of grains donated per question from 10 grains to 20 grains per question. On December 7, 2007, FreeRice exceeded seven billion grains of rice donated.”
